Measurement principle

The detection of granular solids is based on microwaves (Doppler effect) by means of a transmitter-receiver. Presence or non-presence is based on the amount of signal that is blocked or attenuated by the product, when the beam between the sensor and receiver is interrupted.

  • ADVANTAGE
  • Adjustable sensitivity and signal strength indication
  • Non-contact measurement
  • No wear, no maintenance and a long service life
  • Simple installation and commissioning
  • Process temperature: -40 to +450 ° C (-40 to +842 ° F) and pressures up to -0.5 to +6.8 bar (-7.2 to +99 psi)
