Microwave barrier

Measurement principle

The detection of granular solids is based on microwaves (Doppler effect) by means of a transmitter-receiver. Presence or non-presence is based on the amount of signal that is blocked or attenuated by the product, when the beam between the sensor and receiver is interrupted.

ADVANTAGE

Adjustable sensitivity and signal strength indication

Non-contact measurement

No wear, no maintenance and a long service life

Simple installation and commissioning

Process temperature: -40 to +450 ° C (-40 to +842 ° F) and pressures up to -0.5 to +6.8 bar (-7.2 to +99 psi)
