Hydrostatic

Measurement Principle

Level measurement by hydrostatic column in open tanks is based on the determination of the hydrostatic pressure due to the height of the liquid column. The pressure obtained is a direct measure of the level. In case of closed and pressurized tanks, a differential pressure transmitter is needed.

Measurement for liquids and pastes. Insensitive to foam formation and tank obstacles / geometries

No moving parts, minimal maintenance and cost of ownership

Measurement accuracy: ± 0.2%, ± 0.1% (optional)

Process temperature: -10 to +100 ° C (+135 ° C (275 ° F) for up to 30 minutes)

Measurement range: 0.1 to 10 bar (1.5 to 150 psi)
