Water treatment processes
We can classify the different water treatment processes according to the water cycle itself, from fresh source to waste water:
The main sources of drinking water are underground aquifers or surface lakes and rivers, the water from these sources is carried to the places of consumption by pumping and conveyance by pipeline network or by gravity through channels.
The water purification process varies depending on the natural conditions of the source.
Wastewater is water that can be generated by natural actions or as a consequence of human activities from liquid waste of domestic, urban, agricultural, pluvial or industrial origin.
