Liquid leak detection

In the conduction or storage of liquids, there are frequently small leaks for a long time that represent wastage, contamination to the environment and risks to personnel or infrastructure because they are dangerous fluids, whether toxic or explosive.

The principle of operation

· Leak detection systems are designed to continuously monitor

· Leak detection systems can function independently as a standalone system or be integrated into standard mass balance and flow control systems

· If a leak occurs at any point in the supply piping network, it quickly detects and locates it with an accuracy of +/- 1 meter, allowing the facility's mitigation and remediation plan to be activated.

Cables for conductive liquids

These cables will give a "false alarm" in rain or condensation.



For applications in water and conductive fluids, available in fixed lengths with factory installed connectors.


It is used to detect dripping water or glycol in overhead pipe installation. The outer protective layer of the cable will also provide protection in dirty areas or protection against sharp metal edges.


Special version of TT1100 designed to be installed inside the casing on jacketed pipes. This mesh provides a small amount of insulation against sharp edges.


It is used to detect more corrosive conductive fluids such as industrial process residues, contaminated groundwater, diluted acids and caustics.

Cables for combustible liquids.

These cables cannot detect water but can give a “false alarm” if it gets pinched or gets too hot or if it is bent too tightly.



Available in both fixed length with factory installed connectors as well as bulk cable and its separate connector kits.


This version of the TT5000 cable has a black polyester rope over a braided shield. HUV stands for High Ultra Violet and this cable can be used outdoors where it is exposed to sunlight.


Same core as TT5000 but covered with a white polyethylene layer. Polyethylene is more slippery than raw TT5000 cable, the breaking strength increases to 100 kg. This is the cable that is used for underground conduits.

Cables for organic and acid solvents.

These cables ignore water or condensation.



For indoor use, available in fixed lengths or as bulk cable.


Same core as the TT5001 cable but with the outer layer in white polyethylene and a violet tracer to distinguish it from the TT5000-HS. Useful for solvent pipes that are buried wherever acetone; phenol; acetic acid runs through.


Special version of TT5001 designed to be installed in overhead pipes or in the open air.


This cable is designed to detect concentrated sulfuric acid or concentrated nitric acid while ignoring rainwater. It is the only cable with a different linear resistance.
