Process automation

AVEVA InTouch HMI enables operators to optimize interactions between people and industrial automation systems, using libraries that are situational in mind and provide the contextualized information required to quickly and accurately resolve abnormal situations that arise.

AVEVA InTouch HMI now fully support for cloud applications. Remote and concurrent users can have access through web HMI and mobile SCADA to securely monitor and control the plant on real time.

The Insight editor can be accessed from the InTouch Application Manager and InTouch WindowMaker, making it easy for users to submit, label, and update data setting from an InTouch application to AVEVA Cloud Outlook for operational reporting, charts, and dashboard.

Additionally, InTouch WindowMaker merges with Integration Studio, which enables HMI designers to share industrial graphics across all equipment. The sites further enhancing engineering efficiency and the deployment of graphic standards in an organization.

Delayed writing and alarm acknowledgment

HMI builders can continue to design industrial symbols locally, then when ready, drag and drop the symbols to cloud storage making them instantly available to others. Charts in the cloud can be used and edited by other users. This provides a powerful way for users to maintain and share their standards across teams and sites.

Native mobile application for Android and iOS

Remote and local operators experience the same look and feel on tablets and smartphones with support for multi-touch focused pan and zoom functions including the ability to write and acknowledge alarms. In addition, the mobile application supports runtime language switching, allowing users to access an application on their privileged basis.

HTML5 web widgets

AVEVA InTouch HMI introduces support for web widgets, which are reusable controls designed with web technology. The first web widget shipped with the product is the carousel widget. The carousel widget enriches AVEVA InTouch.

HMI and InTouch Web Client allow sequential display of a selected set of charts, automatically rotating them in a configurable predefined interval. Think of it as a "slide show" of symbols.

This has multiple uses but is perfect, for example, for use with smart screens with built-in web browsers or on the wall. Mounted display monitors where you need to rotate between multiple products on dashboards with KPIs or operational information on a periodic interval.
